Meet and Greet

Innkeepers from around the Cape Ann area were treated to a “meet and greet” reception by Roseanne, Sam and me. What a great way to get to know other innkeepers in the area. So often competitiveness gets in the way of neighbors helping neighbors. Not with hotels in Rockport, Ma.

Visitors to Rockport can feel comfortable that inns in Rockport will work together to make their stay in our community enjoyable.

Rockport now has a hotel with meeting space that can accommodate groups of up to 75 people. the picture shown here is the board room which is perfect for small meetings.

Feel free to give me a call if I can help you with your meeting, wedding or family reunion.

I’m Matt Anzivino and I am here to meet and greet you!

I spent last week in Rockport, Mass., which initially seems as far from Hollywood as you can get, both geographically and psychologically. Settled in the 1620s, it’s a former fishing village northeast of Boston on the tip of Cape Ann. It boasts 238-year-old twin lighthouses on Thacher Island, and granite from its quarries helped build Chicago and New York in the 1800s. It’s now full of quaintly rickety fish shacks, art galleries and ice-cream shops, and the empty quarries have become spookily sensual swimming holes. But the more I hung around, the more I realized that Hollywood’s tentacles reach, and are eagerly embraced, everywhere.

Ship Shape

Not only is the Rockport Inn & Suites Ship Shape,” but you can be too! New Cardio equipment has been installed in our new fitness room. The pool is nearing completion with all new locker rooms, new pool and spa, pebble deck and more. Just around the corner is the newly refinished tennis courts.

For the more adventurous, perhaps a triathlon. Walk to the beach, sit in the sand and have a lobster roll down town. Now that’s my idea of a triathlon. Come back and recover from the strenuous training with a soak in the new spa.

I’m Matt Anzivino and I’d love to show you around!
